I went into restaurant in Oxford Street, sat down and lit cigarette.
I called waitress over, who was sitting dreaming.
I ordered .glass of beer. I was thirsty. beer tasted good.
But I threw cigarette away. I wanted to give up smoking - crazy habit!

Bored, I took out my mobile. Who could I call? .friend? Yes, but which one?
piece of paper had fallen out of my pocket as I'd taken out .mobile.
I remembered I'd written down telephone number on it. Who was it?
I knew!  It was number of that intelligent and interesting new girl in office.  
I'd call her. Maybe she'd like to talk.
